The registration desk is located in the Level 2 "Hall 2000" of the Quebec City Convention Center will act as an information/enquiries desk throughout the Congress should you require assistance at any time. People identified as volunteers or staff members on their name badge will also be able to answer any enquiries.
The registration desk will be open at the following times:
Monday, August 28th 07:30 – 19:00
Tuesday, August 29th 07:30 – 19:00
Wednesday, August 30th 08:00 – 19:00
Thursday, August 31st 08:00 – 17:00
Each registered delegate will receive a Congress satchel at the time of registration.
Name badges are your ticket to plenaries, oral and poster sessions, symposia, welcome reception, refreshments, and hot meals (optional).
For security and administrarive purposes, delegates, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors are required to wear their name badges to all Congress sessions and social functions. If you misplace your name badge, please go to the registration desk to arrange a replacement.
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be available during the Congress. You may choose to opt out of lunch meals and get a reduced registration fee. Please refer to the information below for catering times.
Certificates of attendance
If you require a certificate, please talk to staff at the registration desk.
If you have advised the Congress Secretariat of special dietary requirements, please speak to a member of the catering staff during the lunch break, or at any of the functions that you may be attending. Catering staff will have a full list of those with special dietary requirements.
Unauthorised photography, audio taping, video recording, digital taping or any other form of duplication is strictly prohibited in Congress sessions. If you would like copies of presentations, please approach the presenter with your request. PowerPoint presentations from presenters who give their permission is available to firstname.lastname@example.org
Internet and Wi-Fi access
No matter where you are at the Quebec City Convention Centre, you have access to free wireless high-speed Internet, according to current terms and conditions. Full coverage throughout, in every meeting and exhibit room and public space.
Lost and found
Any found item may be turned into the Registration Desk at the Quebec City Convention Centre.
As a courtesy to speakers and your fellow delegates, please switch off your mobile phone or set it to silent when in sessions.
Still photos and videos will be taken throughout the conference. These photos/videos could be posted on the congress ISCAR websites or included as part of published descriptions or archives of the conference activities. If you do not wish to have your photo taken, please consult the Registration Desk.
Posters will be displayed on Wedneday, August 30th, 2017

Every endeavour has been made to ensure that the Congress program details were correct at time of printing. Any subsequent changes or modifications to the program will be announced to delegates throughout the Congress as required.
The Congress Organising Committee reserves the right to change the Congress program at any time without notice. Please note that this program was accurate at the time of printing.
The Tobacco Law forbids smoking in all public buildings, including bars and restaurants.
All speakers are asked to check into the speakers’ preparation room at least three (3) hours prior to their presentation. However, it is recommended speakers register with the speaker preparation room the day before their presentation. The speakers’ preparation room will be located in (TBA).

Water stations are available throughout the conference centre. You are encouraged to bring your own reusable water battles and ll them at these stations.
In order to reduce paper usage, there will be no printed program available on site but several electronic options have been provided for this year’s conference program. A downloadable PDF will be available from the conference website. Thank you for your assistance.
